I miss the original orange-roof Howard Johnsons, now nothing but a memory of what motoring in America used to be. 28 flavors of ice cream. Mmm.

Ah, I remember Howard Johnsons. I'm not sure how widespread this other chain was, but they were iconic to my childhood - Hobo Joe's.

I would say it's more classist.

Harlem is made up of mostly __________ people. The people of Harlem were singled out by a national chain. If that's not racist (more than classist) then I don't know what is.

The question here is whether the term "blatantly racist" applies to Sambos,

I don't know if it applies to Sambo's, but it definitely applies to McDonalds. Some of their commercials are exclusive to one racial group. That's blatantly racist.
