So my K-1 visa was approved last friday (yay!), and as far the DOS can tell me, it has been printed. They cannot tell if it has shipped, or what my waybill # might be, or when I might expect it at the nearest DHL office. DHL will not tell me any information without te waybill #. Online there is still no update with a waybill # on the US-visa site. So my question is: Has anyone found a way to find out their waybill number before it was online?

I live in Vancouver BC Canada, near the consulate where I had the interview, and will be driving out to Abbotsford (an hour away) to pick up the package as soon as it arrives. As soon as I have the package I will be crossing into the States to Seattle that day (I've already packed up, moved some stuff down, quit my job, and need to help wedding planning for july 3rd), so any way of tracking to figure out what day that might be would save a lot of headache for me. if anyone has any tips, that would be amazing! Thanks

Also, if anyone knows how to speak to an operator at the Vancouver consulate (if at all possible), that would be great, as the number I dial just takes me through prerecorded messages, and 0 just repeats those.

This would do better posted in the Canada section.

I believe you can only email Vancouver but that they have a really good response time to emails, much better than Montreal.

You should be able to collect the receipt number from online and use it in the DHL.ca tracking website according to other posts in the Canada forum about this.

The CSC site usually updates slower than the DHL site. So I'd suggest taking the 7 digit reference number on CSC and input it on DHL.ca. It'll be much more up to date. And once the waybill number is available, it will be linked to that 7 digit reference number.
