Email from Consulate but no packet #4

I received an email from the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China after requesting information on the interview date. They said in the email that packet #4 was sent on August 25, 2006 and that the interview date is set for October 17, 2006 at 7:15am.

Here it is now September 11, 2006 and my fiancee still hasn't received packet #4 in the mail. Ok vj, what shall I do at this point? I've paid the funds so that my fiancee can call the Consulate and I've also sent an email to them.

What shall I do now? I'm worried about the Chinese National Day holiday coming up, if this occurs before she receives Packet #4 then there's much to be worried about. Any thoughts anyone?

I would contact them again about the missing packet, indicate that national holiday is coming up and can cause problems with dealing receipt of package 4.

Unfortunately Xiang dose not live in Guangdong province, and would be in-convenient for her to see if she could visit the consulate to pick up the packet.

If she could visit and the consulate allows pick up then you may be further ahead doing that.

How long did it take for her to receive packet 3?

Also if you already have not seen the consulate in Guangzhou has moved:

Their mailing address is still the old location on Shamian Island

Today I emailed them stating that it has been 18 days and my fiancee still hasn't received Packet 4. After this I thought for a moment then decided "What the heck" and faxed them stating the same, with the same information that's required in the email to them. So, between the fax and the email we should be all set, if I don't hear a response by tomorrow then I will give them a call.
