The Foreign Embassy Forum

I would like to suggest that the text 'Including any questions relating to I-134, packets sent from consulate, medical & police certificates' be added to the text describing the purpose of the The Foreign Embassy and Consulate General Discussion Forum. Or something to that effect as perhaps those questions are more likely then to be directed to that forum where they are applicable in the process and hopefully lessen the move tally of these threads when posted in other forums.

Imput please?

I think what might help make things clearer, not only for improved understanding of forum content but more importantly for improved understanding of the immigration process when the K visas are involved, would be if the K1 and K3 forums were re-labeled to indicate that the primary focus is on the petition phase of the process with the USCIS, not the visa phase. (Begging the question of why there is the USCIS Service Center forum elsewhere - what's the difference between the two areas?) The visa phase of the process comes at the consulate.

The immigration visa process is a bit more complex these days, with the visa process being split between initial application submitted to the NVC followed by interview at the consulate. But the NVC forum (significant for immigrant visas, not significant for K visas) is located in a different area.

Perhaps more of a re-organization of the forums than Captain Ewok would like to contemplate.

I totally agree and have discussed this many times, only just now before you posted telling Dan same thing, but I figured the addition of the text was a good start :P Glad you posted this, you read my mind.
