The constitution provides equal protection for all on US soil.

insanity...

under that logic nobody could ever be deprted because they have the right to the pursuit of happiness ...

You realize the the pursuit of happiness is not specifically written in the constitution right?

it was late.. mis-spoke...

if the constitution affords everyone the same rights equally, then by just being here on US soil they have the right to vote, bear arms, and enjoy equally the rights and privileges of citizenship as established by law. right?

No, certain amendments address citizens only. Its best to reverse how you approach the Constitution, its there to restrict the power of the Fed. Government...not necessarily to give people rights.

Just from your list, a non citizen may bear arms for instance, though this varies depending on local laws.

If Alabama, or any state, made it economically unfeasible for employers to hire illegals, either through tax penalties or tax incentives, this would not be an issue. Period. More beating around the bush.

These types of conservative laws are designed to force illegals further underground and further exploit them and treat them inhumanely. As if the employers don't do that already. Forcing them further underground forces them to work for even lower wages/not complain/not protest.
