I-129F Question

On filling up the I-129F form, where it asks for the names of prior spouses. What name should be put down, the prior spouse's maiden name same with G-325A?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Have you filed for a spouse/fiance before and submitted a G-325A in connection with that petition?

I think what they are asking is:

On the forms where you list previous spouses, like the biographical information and such... do you list your prior spouses with their maiden name (the name before you were married) or their married name (which would be the same as yours - if you were a guy)?

I don't know the answer on this one... never been married before, myself.

On G-325A it specifically asks for maiden names of former wives but on I-129F it only says "Names of Prior Spouses".

I put down my ex-wife's maiden name cuz that's the name she now uses.

I would be inclined to stick with using the 'maiden' name of any former spouse just as on the G-325A. My thoughts....why create discrepencies between the two.

I entered the maiden name and the paperwork was processed and sent to NVC, only problem was that I received an RFI from CSC because I entered the wrong date the divorce was finalized, otherwise everything checked out OK. now just waiting for NVC to give case number.

If it asks for maiden name in one form and doesn't especify in the other I'd stick with the maiden name myself.

You have to submit a divorce (or death) certificate with the petition to show that a former marriage has been terminated. How does your ex-wife's name appear on the certificate?
