My question is, who should send these files? Is it supposed to be my mother, the joint-sponsor or us(individually, my borther and I)? They've been asking the same things and we complied them.

Your mother sent you the documents, right? The instruction on the 221g form says that those docs should be mailed to USEM via 2GO, meaning it should be YOU who will mail it in.

How many 221g forms did you receive? Isa lang ba ang case number niyo ng kapatid mo? O magka-iba ang case numbers niyo?

As of my reading on your letter, it should be YOU. Did you send all documents being asked?

Yes we sent them already on April 22, we sent them on USPS pala not FedEx. sorry.

Sa USPS nya ipinadala. Akala kasi nila na mas madali kung ipapadala nalang nila directly sa USEM kasi sa petitioner naman yung mga documents na kelangan hindi na sa amin.

Meron kaming na receive na 221g but that was during our interview. Ikinomply namin lahat tulad ng ITR2012, new NBI ko, etc. except the joint sponsor kasi akala namin ok yung income ng mama ko, hindi pala kaya nagpadala sila ng letter na kelangan ng Joint Sponsor that was in April 17. Nung April 22 ipinadala na namin through USPS, at according to USPS tracking website naipadala na nila nung April 30 sa USEM.

On May 1 we asked for an update, tapos nung May 3 nagemail sila na nareceive na nila ung documents. Nung May 6, nagulat kami na nagemail sila ng mga documents na kelangan katulad parin nung nareceive namin nung April 17.

Sa email sinabi doon na magprint nalang kayo ng 2GO Courier Submission Letter sa website nila.

We are thinking na hindi pa naireview ng embassy ung mga Joint Sponsorship na mga documents. Siguro nasa embassy na nga, pero yung documents ewan ko kung saan nila inilagay. Kung naireview na nila ung documents bakit pareho paring documents ang kinakailangan nila?

Our last option is, mabuti nalang meron extra copy si mama ng mga documents, tapos ipapadala nalang nya yun sa amin tas kami nalang magpapadala sa 2go.

We tried to call USEM and they still give the same response. The Joint Sponsor is a senior citizen, neighbor nila and a good friend. He met the required income. Is he qualified? Baka kasi nadeny.

Ito po talaga ang dapat niyong ginawa kasi lahat ng 221g docs dapat via 2go sinusubmit together with the 221g form na binigay sa inyo.

yung mister ko kakagaling lang nya 2 days sa SLEC, sputum test on MAy 20, 21 & 23. Matagal ba yung result nito? at kung mag positive ilang weeks ba yung gamutan dito? at kung negative naman, agad bang malalaman ang resulta? maraming salamat !

Hello mga kabayan! Just an update. My visa interview was approved today! (Sa wakas!)

I checked my visa status via ceac website and it says "Issued". I opted to pick it up to a 2go branch here in Pampanga. Hoping to get it soon!

Update on our visa journey:

Got our visa packet today sa 2go branch Dau Pampanga. I also booked our flight on June 13. Planning to do PDOS on the 2nd week of june.

My brother in law together with his wife are both senior citizens. Whenever they get discounts for airline fees they have to go to the ticketing office and ask for it. But not all ticketing office give such discount. I suggest you find cheaper ones instead. Try travelocity

Hello mga kabayan! Just an update.

Andito na po kmi ni baby ko sa Illinois. We had Manila-Narita-Chicago flight. As of departure sa NAIA, wala namang naging problem. We arrived on time sa Japan, waited for 3hrs and 45 mins for our connecting flight. Mahaba-haba ang byahe from Narita to Chicago kaya mahaba-haba din ang tulog. Hehehe.

POE: O'Hare International Airport. Took us about 2hrs total inside the airport. Masyado kc madami tao. Hmmm overall, smooth naman ang immigration procedures. :-)

As of now, we are waiting for our greencards and SSNumber. Hope to receive them soon! Goodluck sa mga ongoing pa ang processing for their visas.

I paid the USCIS immigrant fee a week before our departure to US. Since then, i saw our case to be pending and fee accepted up to the day we entered the US. When i tried to log in today, i can no longer see our cases. Have you experienced the same?
