I really CAN'T say if you'll be covered by the CSPA (Child Status Protection Act),

maybe some other senior members here can somehow shed light on your current status,...

But I did some "conservative" computation, your PD "might" become current this October 2013,

its going to be a photofinish for you if in case you are not covered by the CSPA, my counting

is by a month only, 4 weeks, not 5 weeks,...

Ask ko lang....usc yung fiancee ko..kasal din sila sa pinas nung ex wife niya..pero divorced sila sa US....ngayon mag file siya ng K1 para sakin...hindi ba magiging problema yung existing marriaage niya dto sa pinas...

Hello tagumay! Regarding your case, no worries. Ung kapatid ng asawa ko had the same situation like yours. Kasal sya sa pinas at kasama nya nakarating ng US ang ex wife nya. But unfortunately, the relationship didnt work well. So they filed a divorce. He had a gf here in the phils, na inuwian nya twice. And the last tym na umuwi sya, the girl got pregnant. she delivered the baby on feb2009. my brother in law naturalized on Nov 2010. He filed a petition on dec2011. They were ask to provide some evidences of relationship. But eventually got approved and received their visa. Both the girl and the baby are now in the US for 1 and half years.

Applicant is about to turn 21: Applicants who are turning 21 years of age must notify the Embassy in a timely manner (at least four to six months before turning 21) about their “aging out” situation. An applicant, if petitioned under a visa category that classifies the applicant as a “child”, becomes ineligible for the visa once he/she turns 21 years old. A new petition will have to be filed on his/her behalf. If the Embassy is alerted of an “aging out” situation and if visa numbers are available for the applicant’s use, the visa processing may be expedited to ensure that the applicant is able to depart before turning 21. The Embassy will not be able to assist in aging out situations when cases have priority dates that are not yet current.

hi mga kababayan.. kailangan ko po ng advice ninyo, na approved na po petition ko nung April 2012 "under unmarried child under 21 years old of a permanent residence" now im turning 21 years old this coming May 2013.

- magkakaroon po ba ng problem ang case ko pag ng 21 ako?

- gano po katagal bago ang medical?
