We just had our F2A visa interview today and we were APPROVED! To GOD be all the GLORY!

Questions from Filipino screener:

1. What is your name and date of Birth

2. Who petitioned you

3. How did you met?

4. When was the last time you see your husband

5. How did he get his green card

6. When is your wedding

7. Have you been married before?

She asked few more questions but I forgot lols, but all are easy questions that you can answer easily if you know your spouse. Basically all questions were from your papers from USCIS and NVC.

Things they asked:

1. My son's birth cert (should be from NSO)

2. My latest NBI clearance

3. Latest AOS (that shows my son's name since we added his name to my petition after I gave birth)

4. My husband's latest tax return 2011

Questions from Consul:

(this only took us few minutes, mas matagal ang interview dun sa mga pinoy, mas mabusisi sila hehe)

1. Name of your petitioner

2. What does he do

3. Is this your first time to apply for visa

That's all then he said your paper looks fine :-)

Guys, be sure to bring latest tax return others were given 221G form because they fail to submit that. Yung isa naman sya need to submit latest NBI clearance, update all your documents, then relax just be yourself, and most of all pray, pray and pray!

yung current ITR lang importante pero padala mo na lang din W2 pati na din sa tatay mo. scan mo na lang at send thru email para mapadali. Kung current ITRs ang nasubmit dati baka hindi na hanapin sa interview. Yung ITR pala ay dapat may tatak ng IRS ( Internal Revenue Service) pero kung walang tatak magrequest na lang sa IRS website ng copy. Yung mga vice consul kasi sa embassy na mga Pilipino hindi consistent ang requirements. Yung anak ko dati hinanapan ako ng IRS copy buti meron ako dala. May power mga vice consul, napuna ko me mga notes yan na ginagawa at pinapasa sa consul kung ano tatanongin nila sa applicant.

Sir Sirach, dapat ba may tatak talaga ng IRS yung ITR?

Yung sa akin kasi efile, and wala tatak ng IRS.

May bayad ba pag nag request ka ng copy and gano katagal bago madeliver sa iyo?

Madali Lang kumuha ng IRS transcript. Request ka tru email after 1 week darating by mail. Kung sa US dina kailangan ang tatak pero Kung sa embassy natin mas mabuti me tatak , pinoy mga checker dun, alam mo na sa atin Kung gano kastricto.

kung pang NVC, kahit wala tatak ng IRS pero sa interview magdala ka ng IRS transcript pang sigurado lang. Good luck bro.

Congrats! Yung anak ko dumating ng march 30, hangang ngayun wala pa. Meron ka ba natanggap na welcome letter bago dumating yung green card?

this is strange.

tawagan nyo na sir sirach yung uscis para malaman yung status ng card.

normally, 1-3 weeks lang natatanggap na yung GC.

pinakamahaba na yung 1 month.

sa akin dati, nauna dumating green card bago yung welcome letter, hehehe.

Tumawag ako in transit na yung welcome, yung green card daw ay before the 15th. Yung akin din dati inabot ng 1 & half months. Nahuhuli ba kaya ang taga Seattle, hehe? Thanks bro.

Mga kabayan, may tanong lang po ako, naging case complete kami april 9,2012, as per nvc, pd namin is 2006, question po is kailangan ba namin ulit hintauin maging current yung pd namin before kami mabigyan ng interciew date? Salamat po

How will I know if my PD is current?My PD is October 2010.My case has been completed April 2012 accdg.to NVC.
