Thanks kabayan! d ko kc gets kung kaya ba pinapasama ung checklist letter ay dahil andun ung barcode, o pwede na cover page na lang. Nweiz, i'll do wat u've said. Play safe na rin. Bukas ipapadala na ng asawa ko sa NVC so more likely by monday marereceive na ng NVC ung docs.

How long bago mo malaman na case complete na?

According to NVC 20 days daw sabi ng lawyer.Sa case ko kc the checklist letter was addressed to my lawyer.Since he is out of town I can't wait for him till he arrives, we decided to include the checklist letter just to be safe.I mailed my documents April 11,2012.

Kelan pa nila nareceived? Ung akin, nreceived na daw kahpon accdg sa USPS. So nag email ako sa NVC today asking kung ntouch na nila unv docs nmin hopefully ma case complete na. Para waiting for interview na. Im looking forward na maging current tau dis yr at no more lonely christmas

NVC received the documents April 13.I already sent an e-mail to NVC just to have an idea how long does it take for a case to be completed.Hopefully and praying hard na matapos na case natin.Keep me posted re ur case ha!.

Ung akin, ung coverpage. Alam ko kc importanti lang jan ung barcode.

2. DS 230 Part 1 & 2. Tama basta wag mo sisign ung Part 2

3. Birth certificate (Beneficiary) Yup!

4. Birth Certificate (petitioner) Lam ko d ito kailangan. Documents ng applicant (beneficiary) lang ang need.

5. Marriage Certificate Yup!

6. NBI Yup!

7. Police Clearance Need lang ito kung nagstay ka out of Philippines for more than 1year (not so sure kung 6mos or 1yr). So kung d ka naman ngstay out of Phils, no need.

8. Passport Biographic data page (beneficiary) Yup!

9. 2 x 2 pictures (Question): ilang pcs ba yung ipapadala ?) 2 pcs, dont forget to write your name at the back of each then signature.

Yung cover page na kasama ng IV fee. Ang mahalaga dito ay yung routing address sa NVC. Kung mapuna ninyo iba yung address din ng cover sheet sa AOS.

Diko Alam Kung iisang opisina ngayun ang AOS at IV documents.

hi..im just new here in this forum. almost 2yrs na kami ng mga kids ko d2 sa US. Last month lang ako naka-uwi sa Pilipinas para magpakasal kami ng father ng mga kids ko. And i am waiting for him to send me the copy of our marriage certificate fr the City Hall kasi civil lang nman yung kasal nmin..sa april 16th pa cya pinababalik para makuha ito..my question is, is it ok na yun ang i-send ko together with the I-130..coz after 6 mos pa daw po ang copy fr NSO..at kailangan ko na din bang palitan ang last name ko using mg husband's last name when i fill out the form..i really appreciate if u could give help me..thanks and happy easter...

My wife did filed the petition for me and our 2 teens,

it took over 2 and a half years, dahil sa retro natin before,

but thank God, everything went well,...

I would suggest you stick with your maiden name, like what we did ng asawa ko,

lahat ng documents and credentials nya up to now ay puro maiden name,

USCIS, NVC and USEM doesn't mind that, for as long as you provide them all the

necessary documents that they requested, main problem in our country is the slooooow

process ng mga papeles natin, I know it may not sound good but dire times,

need dire measures, remember that you can fast track everything in the Philippines,

but that's the sad reality of it, besides, kung ipit na ipit ka na sa oras, then you have

no choice but to bite the bullet,...

Civil documents will not be accepted by NVC, and if in case yan ang isasubmit mo,

it will only cause you further delays and reviews, magpapapabalik balik ang mga papeles nyo sa NVC,

and that will definitely take some more time... Better find someone from the inside,

whether from the civil registrar and also to the NSO, mas mapapadali ang process mo,

just be prepared to shell out somehow, sad reality, I know...

Do make LOTS of copies ng mga ipapadala mo sa NVC,

as well as a printed copy ng DS230, just to be prepared just in case...

CENOMAR is a must, NBI should be updated, W2s and ITRs dapat dala mo lahat,

kung ilang taon ang merong available, bring them all, money remittances receipts kung meron,

pictures of you and your husband, as well as with your kids,

yan lang naman ang mga hinanap sa amin nung interview namin, and Thank God,

everything went quite well,...

If the documents you sent sa NVC ay kumpleto at walang sabit,

hindi ka na hihingan ng iba pang documents sa interview mo,

ni hindi na nga ako hinigan ng pictures eh, and yung age namin sa DS230 na nakasubmit

sa NVC ay nilagyan lang ng correction tape nung consul, hindi na sya humingi ng ibang kopya sa akin,

so make it sure na in order and complete ang lahat ng documents mo na ipapadala sa NVC para walang sablay

and delay, Good luck, you're almost there...
