hi..im just new here in this forum. almost 2yrs na kami ng mga kids ko d2 sa US. And i am waiting for him to send me the copy of our marriage certificate fr the City Hall kasi civil lang nman yung kasal nmin..sa april 16th pa cya pinababalik para makuha ito..my question is, is it ok na yun ang i-send ko together with the I-130..coz after 6 mos pa daw po ang copy fr NSO..at kailangan ko na din bang palitan ang last name ko using mg husband's last name when i fill out the form..i really appreciate if u could give help me..thanks and happy easter...

puntahan mo munisipyo nyo, sa registrar's office.

sabihin mo na kailagan mo ng NSO copy as soon as possible.

@yampiazkdaniel

Within a month, nakakuha na kaagad kami ng NSO copy.

Accept it or not, ganyan talaga dito sa atin.

Standard processing o Appointment processing?

Oo, fill up an mo din yung part II.

Thank You Lord! Salamat din Kabayan! Napakalaking tulong tlaga sakin nitong VJ.

Parang income tax return Ito na irequest nila from IRS sa US.

@yampiazkdaniel

As per Form I-130 Instruction naman, it says:

What If Your Name Has Changed?

If either you or the person you are filing for is using a name

other than that shown on the relevant documents, you must file

your petition with copies of the legal documents that affected

the change, such as marriage certificate, adoption decree or

court order.

At sa pag fill up naman ng I-130 and G-325A, there's a line that asks:

"Other Names Used (including maiden name)" and "All Other Names Used (include names by previous marriages)

So that would be a reference for USCIS for your change of name in your case and the primary supporting docx to be presented ay yung Marriage Cert nyo in NSO copy.

Sa I-130/G-325A filing naman po basic pa lang ang requirements.. no need yet to present other IDs except for your copy of greencard and your passport on which maire-reconcile naman ng USCIS yung current name mo base on the date of your Marriage vs. the date of issue ng passport at grencard mo.
