question: if madeny po sa first application nang citizenship.. when po pwede makapag apply ulit.. my husband had already 10 years of stay in us. and he only decided to apply for citizenship when we meet.. unfortunately, he forgot one offense he did way back 2009 so he wasnt able to answer the questionaire appropriately - they were thinking he was lying but he just forgot it... that made them decide to deny him.. can we appeal on that.. or when will he be a eligible to apply the citizenship again?

Honestly this is my first time to hear that a kababayab

Shoot sorry!.., to hear a kababayan got denied a citizenship. It's a breeze even to practical applicants unless mayroon offense which the immigration is really very strict. If it is an offense that he made before then I suggest he consults a lawyer.

really - we are even more careful about everything but he got denied... that made me really sad...

USCIS JOURNEY

Dec-30,2010- filing date (priority date)

Jan-12,2011- received NOA1 (receipt no.)

May 12,2011 - received NOA2 (USCIS approval)

NVC (National Visa Center)Journey

May 25,2011 - sent email to NVC for Case Number

June 2,2011 - replied email - containing CASE NUMBER -

(starts with MNL.......)

june 16,2011 - receive the hard copy (stating the same message in the email) for case number

Nov. 18,2011 - receive AOS and COA via email

Nov. 19, 2011 - payed 88 dollars

Dec. 7, 2011 - AIVF received

Feb. 8, 2012 - Payed 404

Feb 17, 2012 - received cover letter

Feb 19, 2012 - Sent ds230 part 1 and 11, and supporting docs

Feb 22, 2012- received by NVC

Mar 4, 2012 - send and RFE then send them

Apr 1, 2012 - CASE COMPLETE!

Then the long wait starts here : PRIORITY DATE: Dec. 30,2010

(regularly checking VISA BULLETIN for updates)

Hello everyone! My question lng po ako. mgpapasa npo ang asawa ko ng AOS kya lng hndi po abot yung income ng asawa ko. ano po ba ang dapat nyang gamitin yung I-864A pra sa nanay nya o yung I-864 for joint sponsor? naguguluhan po kc kmi eh. ska po about sa DS230 kailangan po bang magsubmit ng NBI ko? Thank you po.

hello, kung hindi abot ang income mo, file i-864a KUNG pareho kayo ng address ng mama mo. kung magkaiba kayo ng address, joint sponsor ang kailangan at another i-864 yun. :) you can double check on their site na din. good luck!

Hello mga kabayan, may question ako.

PD namin is May 10, 2009. Yung case namin nasa US Embassy na at wala na sa NVC. Last year pa yun dun, dun inabutan ng retrogression. Up to now wala pa kaming interview date, I tried calling them pero sabi nung nasa Call Center, ang interview date daw eh manggagaling mismo sa Consular office ng Embassy. February na next week pero hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong na re receive na notice from US Embassy. Anong gagawin ko? kinakabahan na ko :( hinde tuloy kami makapag pa medical

2 weeks na akong tumatawag sa Call Center hotline to shcedule an interview pero sabi nila wala pa daw go signal ng US Embassy. May mali kaya sa papers namin?

Pardon me,.. Can't seem to find the answer here anywhere,...

Yup, you can go to St Lukes and have your medical exam. Just bring copy of the appointment letter, photocopy it, also bring VISA SIZE photo. They don't accept 2x2 size picture anymore. You can also register online before you go to St. Lukes. That will save your time in filing up form when you get there. Here is the link to register online
