we had our family interview in us embassy islamabad on 29th APril 2010 since then were under ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS

AFTER A YEAR OF WAITING NOW WE HAVE A CALL FROm embassy for revised medical and police certificate and ds230,AND PASSPORTS...WT is next any help would be nice AND IS THIS THE END,,.,.,,. WE'RE PISSED OFF

Waiting is hard thing , well getting a call to bring the revised stuff seems to be good news, you are not forgotten!

Usually they would not request these items unless the AP was complete. Keep in mind they run your name one last time prior to printing the visa so there is a slim chance there will be more delays. BUT I think you are probably good to go.

Yeah it definitely sounds like there is some action finaly on your case...don't be surprised if once you submit all this information to them again they call you back for another interview. That is quite possible....and then if approved you will get your visa quickly since the ap is over...

After 13 months you are pissed off that they are proceeding with your case? Why? Because you need another medical and police certificate?

Why would you be piss off for? At least you are in the final stages of receiving your visa!!

We all totally understand your frustration and unfortunately all of us including me and my husband going thru the MENA embassies almost expect some sort of delay in Visas which unltimately will also create expirations on your documentations resulting in the need for the embassy to request new ones. Nothing to do except get new ones and supply what they are asking for if you want to get your Visa... be happy your at the end of it!!! InshALLAH it won't be too much longer.

If you want those immigrant visas you WILL get the US embassy what they require from you. All medicals and police records expire after 12 months, need to get the new ones done. And yes, the cost is on the immigrant. So count your lucky stars you have a qualifying US relative to sponsor you as there are millions of people who would consider themselves lucky to get into the US so easy.

I will I always keep the ppl waiting for visas to their loved ones in my prayers I know its an extra cost but think of the end result...it's priceless
