i have been patiently calling nvc everyday starting a week after we got our NOA2, they keep saying the same thing, that they haven't received it yet, I always ask them if it is still with USCIS, and they say that it's probably on transit and it would take 15 business days. But when i called this morning, the lady i talked to said that nvc received our petition (i got a little excited at this point but just for 2seconds) but it would take 2-4 weeks before they could put it on their system and assign a case number to us. I was thinking how come she knew that they have received it if it's not on their system yet, so i called again this evening, then the person i spoke at this time said the same thing, that nvc received it but it would take 20-30 business days before they could give me our case number. they said that it's their normal procesing time. What do you think is going on with our case? How come it would take another month?
