Maybe it's just me; but I don't think Obama ran on a platform of playing lots of golf, keeping the economy awful, and maintaining high unemployment.

I'm just wondering why people are taking issue with Obama for not apparently being able to do what the rest of the industrialised world has been unable to do either. You can't wave your hands and magically reverse a global recession.

It was the whole bunch of them before but the Morons made it plain that Bush was to blame for all no matter what so from now on the President gets blamed for all. After all the Prez signs the bills. Bills can be vetoed. Guidance is accepted to congress with what is acceptable and not. Obama the Socialist never gave guidance or vetoed. The Socialists even had a fool proof majority and could have passed anything but failed even at that. Just think what they could have done if Obama the Socialist had been an effective leader. Now what we have is ineptness of historical note.

I regrettably voted for Obama because McCain was hand-in-hand with Bush and such a stance is just unforgivable. (The last part there is a LOL moment by the way.) Yes, Bush screwed things up pretty badly but Obama has been in the chair for 2 1/2 years now but can't seem to find anywhere to spend any less.

Oh, and for those that voted for McCain, I submit a quote from John "Dubya" McCain himself: "Now we need to increase our support so that the Libyan people can achieve the only satisfactory outcome to this mass protest for universal rights -- the end of Gadhafi's rule and the beginning of a peaceful and inclusive transition to democracy that will benefit all Libyans."

So according to McCain, we should be in Iraq, Afghanistan AND Libya.

21/2 years is not much time to fix 8 yrs of screwing things up plus having to still continue to work with a whole bunch of screw ups in congress. There is no quick fix for the current economic problems either. I have not heard of one person who has had any ideas that has grabbed our attention and support.

Look at California and you see that the Democrats do no better running things. When do we stop blaming the other team and look at our government as a whole and demand better? They both are screwing the country up but they have us on “divide and conquer”. The American people will support their party no matter what it seems. We can’t admit that both sides are at fault and we need something better. Even while one side spends us to death and the other side has the rich and big business paying Crazy low to no tax.
