What do I need to do for my US Citizen Children

My wife and stepdaughter have had their NVC cases approved and now we're just waiting for the interview from the US Embassy. My other question is my wife and I have 2 children, Branna 4 years old and Bryant 3 years old. They already have their US Passports and Consular Report of Birth Abroad. Is there anything that I need to have them do to enter the US for the first time? The 2 kids have never traveled. I would assume that I will need their medical records to show all of the immunizations that they've had as well as all other legal documents for them (Philippines Birth Certificate, Baptismal Papers, .....). Do my 2 kids have to take a medical exam like my wife and stepdaughter? Any help in this would be appreciated.

You don't need a thing but US passports, for traveling to the US. I do hope you have PI passports for the two? If not get them before traveling. This will save you costly fees from the BI

Thanks Bro! I'll have my wife check into getting the PI Passports for my 2 kids. I would think though that they wouldn't need them right? Isn't having a US Passport better for traveling anyway? Plus, when traveling to the Philippines, we'd just use the US Passports. I'll call the Philippines consulate on Monday to see what they have to say about the kids. Thanks for letting me know though. If not, I'd never have thought about it.

Hi i have 2 U S citizen children also and believe me get the philippine passport because if you dont have both it will delay you by weeks if not months and the cost is very high when they leave the philippines just show both passports after they arrive there then show both again when you arrive in the united states after that you wont need the philippine passport but it will save you a lot of time, money and headaches to get it now

Take note from the last post, no need to talk with PI consulate just go down to DFA and get them trust me.

It’s not a matter of the US passport being better for traveling, they have to have that anyways US CITIZENs it’s about getting hosed with late fees from the BI. Just give BI person at the airport both passport and you'll be on your way! One good point when they have both passports they are dual citizen, with out any hassle in paper work

If they ever travel back to the PI and wish to stay longer then the 22 days on a US passport and avoid the BI fees then yes they will need them. One more plus to get them OP
