Do I have to do this all over again?

So this is a hit n run? I'm not surprised. Your tactics are transparent and your strategy is indefensible. You wish to tarnish other posters with your innuendo without actually violating TOS.

It's far from a hit and run, as I've made my position on this kind of behavior very well known from the beginning. This is nothing I haven't already said before. And if my opinion about "faint praise" is really the only thing you find objectionable in the post, then I'll take it.

Are you sure you're not a lawyer? ;)

Guilty as charged. And now you know why it takes me 3 weeks to replace a roof. My hands are so sore, it's going to be weeks before I can pick the pockets of sick children again! ;)

This is an immigration forum. The uppers are swarming with lawyers. Egotist? Yeah. Just a bit.

I mean the so-called "lower" fora. Unlike me, they don't sully themselves by taking part in anything that might not be driving traffic their way. Actually, you don't even need to be a lawyer to be proffering advice these ways and driving traffic to your site. I have nothing to lose since 1) I'm not an immigration lawyer and 2) I'm not licensed to practise in any state in this country. Yet.

So shut it, pleb.

Vey cool. You guys get a bum rap. What kind of law and which state are you licensed to practice in?

Natural resources and energy, specifically oil and gas. For privacy reasons I'd rather not say what states I'm licensed in, but most of my work involves a large organization in Ukraine. Which is how I met my wife. :)

In that case, instead of fighting so much you and WhyMe could bond over the subject.

No argument here.

How ironic. The only American fuel company doing any kind of business in Ukraine atm is Conoco (my former employer), and their only part there is being a silent partner with ENI oil (Italian outfit who also develops oil fields here in Alaska) who does the actual work there. Of course ENI subs for Naftohaz which is the only Ukrainian company there that makes any kind of calls seeing how's it's owned and ran by the government of Ukraine.

So let me get this straight. Ukraine which rely's on Russian gas for survival has an American lawyer practicing law for..ENI, Conoco...or is it Naftohaz?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Aren't you a consultant too?

Soon no longer to be one, but to be a writer, of sorts. Look for a ghost-written management book without my name on it in the next couple of years.

Even if I were inclined to discuss who I was employed with (quick show of hands...how many people here are comfortable with sharing who their employer is on VJ? Not a lot...), I don't get the sense that it would really matter. You've decided I'm not who I say I am, and that's where we stand. So what's my incentive here? I'd love to have a civil conversation with you, but the barriers are pretty insurmountable atm.

If it's the one without your name that I'm thinking of, well done!

At least you got that one right.

He is being civil what's wrong with you?

You could explain how an American lawyer ends up working in the ukraine.
