Talk back about the Topic about the Expedite service that I can get proved so fast. I remember that I sent in one the reports that I was being a fire victim in a level 7 fire in Chinatown, NYC and I got interviewed by HBO. Maybe that is one of the reason I got prove fast??

I already receive the email from NVC . They gave me the New GZO number. My payment status for AOS still in Progress.

Am i going to keep waiting? Or I should start to prepare the I-864 form? start fill out the form?

whoa - that's super fast.

is ok to send things in now, but, you are not ready to send the AOS IN, yet, as you need the barcoded coversheet.

When the AOS fee status is changed to PAID - there will be new link for the barcoded coversheet, download that and include it with the AOS/I-864 email.

For now, sure, fill out that form, and start your scanning process on your tax info. Get it ready, when the AOS fee bill is marked paid, you'll just add in the barcoded coversheet and send it all in.

ah - that email, with the GZO # - is silly section in it, right? Basically it asks you if you WISH to continue.

Yes, you wish to continue.

if you have opt in accceptance (usually indicated by issuance of GZO number)

then usually the DS-3032 is added to the casefile and

usually, within a day or two after, the IV fee bill is available to be paid at the online payment portal.

Keep eyes open, check often.

I guess I am a lucky guy in this visa Journey. The status just showed paid. I would like to ask what's the format for optin again with the I-864?

I have a joint sponser also. What should I do. Do I have to click print, then I can see the bar code? Coz i didnt see any bar code right now. and no other link for me to direct me to the I-864 . Or I have to Download the Link from your Wiki for the I-864? What other documents I need for I-864. 3 years tax return transcript? and what?

the bar code is in the cover sheet at the online payment portal. get it via download. you will include that page in your EMAIL packet for the two I-864's that you are scanning in.

there is no 'format for optin again with the I-864?' at all.

you're gonna make an email with file attachments.

The file attachments are PDF files:

1. coversheet that you downloaded from the online payment portal.

2. your signed I-864 form

2.a. your tax data, w-2's, letter of employment, current paystubs - must to scan in, remember?

3. co-sponser's I-864 form

3.a. co-sponser's tax data, w-2's, letter of employment, current paystubs

When you scan in, change settings on your scanning software so that multi-page pdf is the default option, with a scanning resolution of 200 dpi or less, grey-scale or black/white . This will reduce the file size, try to keep it all under 15 megabytes for the file attachments in one email.

You would use the I-864 or I-864EZ, it depends. For now, though, download the I-864 and I-864EZ, both, and study them. When you're ready, fill them out, print them out, sign , rescan to pdf.

The problem is I actually just got Laid off these days. I already applied the umeployment. So I dont have employment letter. Is that fine. I have Co-sponser. He was the guy who sponser me to come to USA before. Is that fine?

and what's the difference between Tax Date and W2? Can I download W2 form from WEBSITE. I dont think I have W2 on hand. A lot of problem... zzzzzzz

oh - tax date? you mean tax data ?

tax data includes irs form 1040, W-2s, any other irs forms used for filing taxes, and/or the irs tax transcripts. if you have tax transcripts, not need w-2 or tax return form - all is on the tax transcript.

you'll need 2 I-864's - one on you, one on the co-sponser. show what you have on yours, he show's what he has on his.

Now is homework time, for the I-864. Make some time, get them, study them, read instructions, practice with this form for filling out, practice with this form for scanning, give one to your co-sponser as well. Don't forget, la - GUZ IV wants to see 3 years of tax data.
