Police Certificates (UK)

I'm awaiting packet 3 for my interview in Dublin. Having lived previously in the UK, I require a police certificate from there as well as Ireland. I have a UK certificate from a visa interview in November 2010, and was wondering if this is still valid for an interview with a probable date of late June/early July.

My fiancee told me they should be issued within 6 months of interview. Is this correct?

Thanks! :)

I can't wait to be home with my love.

PC are valid for around 1 year and the process normally takes 2-3 weeks

They have a 10 day and 2 day processing option. I remember getting mine done with the 2 day option in November, all in all taking about 5 days to arrive from the time I mailed the form.

I'll get another one if I have to, but was wondering if the current one is acceptable to the embassy.

If your last certificate is from November 2010 then it's good till November of this year. That said, you are due for your NOA2 soon as I can see by your time ticker in your signature I just wonder is it cutting it close? I only say this cause after you get your NOA2 its still a bit of work and time sadly with the medical and awaiting packet 3 to be received then receiving your interview :( Doubt it will be a problem for the interview but I guess I more worried about whether it be current for when you go for an AOS? Things to consider I guess. Either way best of luck with your journey! :) And always remember you can get another one sent to your US address in the future too :D
