Hi!

Im waiting for my VISA, did an DCF in Stockholm.

The thing is that I am moving to US in september, but will do a shorter business to Chicago trip in august and then head back to sweden.

Ive understood that it is when you enter USA with your VISA the green card will be sent to my adress in USA.

Will there be any problems going there in august, and then go back to Sweden for 2 weeks and then USA again?

Hope you understand the question :-)

I believe that you can enter the USA without having to activate the K1. Let the customs officer know that its in your passport and that you dont want to activate it. You will probably be questioned, just answer honestly and hopefully you wont have any issues. I have heard of this happening, and usualy Border Patrol ( this is Canada/USA though, so might make a difference ) will allow the travels without activation. But they dont let it go on forever. To my understanding, the USBC feels that if you have a visa, and you are traveling back and forth and not using the visa, then you shouldnt have it. But I dont think a one time business travel should be that big of a deal.
