Maybe you should just email it....Don't know if scan copy might be clear and legitable to read..But try both.

Sorry, but you would have to scan it still to email it (unless it is an unsigned copy which isn't much use). As others said, you will need the original(s) at the interview and USCIS can be sticky for the original signature since they don't deal with an electronic process like NVC. You can always call and ask, letting them know you will have the original at the interview and if they say ok, that will save some mailing time.

Not sure if you have taken care of this already but my suggestion is to type it up and send it as an attachment, that way she prints it sign it and then mail it back to you, then you can sign and then mail it to the service center, this way you save time by having to mail it to her....but as many people said already I won't take a chance on sending in a non-original...GOOD LUCK the rest of the way

i hope they will state on the rfe if what they really want like scanned copy is okay or original but you are right the uscis has the only right to make a decission:) tnx

Why would you take the chance? Sign an ORIGINAL letter of intent and send it by Fedex or UP or DHL

If you send a scanned letter and they reject it as a response, your petition will be denied and you will start all over. But you would save the Fedex fee. Great idea.
