I am just wondering if any of November filers got approved during this week ?

Yes, I called USCIS and they took all the information and promised to assign someone to look into my file and e-mail me or update me. A week later, I got an e-mail from USCIS saying that my case is going through a background check and this process takes up to 6 months......

5 years ago, I petitioned my ex-wife, whom i divorced, and withdraw her petition and cancelled it before she arrive the US, even before she got approved by the embassy back in her home....may be this was reason behind the delay of my petition ????????

u can check the average processing times of ur service center - and as long as its in that time limit, its fine. if its taking longer than that, u should get some info whats going on or if there are any problems- but usually they contact u asap they find probs, so not hearing from them aint too bad. might be a busy time - but maybe they ll approve ur case within the next day. keep on hoping for the best :star:

i ve no idea if it has sth to do with that petition u sent years ago. but if uscis tells u it can b up to 6 months, call em if its been longer than that and ask them about it. maybe that can ease ur mind a lil if u get some info. this waiting sucks so much, i know what u re going through. fingers are crossed!

I would be having stress also when I see people approved in 2-3 months and then people from November whether it was an RFE or the Vermont center waiting to be approved..They say every case is different but I think that also is a bunch of BS...... I just pray you all get approved soon.............

Yes, my husband begged me to just drop the visa and come to Turkey. He and his family were so torn up about me being in the hospital. They just want me to come to Turkey so they can take care of me. They are such a wonderful family. But I want to give it a little time. But my health is more important and the stress is really taking a toll on my husband's health too.

I am praying for us too.
