sorry miraya...first visit this link by DOS...

http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/WaitingListItem.pdf

and then subscribe to capitol immigration law group....there u can find this information regarding the DOS statements...

"The slow forward movement across many employment categories continues, as expected, although we have started seeing notable movement in the EB-2 India and EB-2 China categories after many months of no activity (especially for EB-2 India). The EB-2 India and EB-2 China movement is due to the carryover of visa numbers from the EB-1 category (also see note below). Unfortunately, EB-3 India moved forward by only one week again (the same as during the previous few visa bulletins).

We continue to see the FB2A category move forward (byseven months), after the significant retrogression over the past several months. We wish to reiterate that the forward movement in FB2A is expected to be slow over the next few months, according to indications from the State Department..... "

and one more thing ...petition is approving within 5 months that does not means that total visa available to f2a had been increased(88000 APPROX)...AND AS WE ALL KNOW THERE IS HEAVY FILING IN 2010 AND 2011...it simply means PD vl be slower and slower by mnth after month....i think now it should be clear to u...

"We wish to reiterate that the forward movement in FB2A is expected to be slow over the next few months, according to indications from the State Department..... "

This statement has appeared in the articles of capitol immigration law group when they were discussing the VBs in the recent four months (April, May, June, July):

April: http://www.cilawgroup.com/news/2011/03/09/april-2011-visa-bulletin-%E2%80%93-slow-movement-in-eb-no-movement-again-for-eb-2-india-fb1-retrogresses-fb2a-moves-forward/

May: http://www.cilawgroup.com/news/2011/04/09/may-2011-visa-bulletin-%E2%80%93-eb-2-india-advances-fb1-and-fb2b-unchanged-future-visa-bulletin-predictions/

June: http://www.cilawgroup.com/news/2011/05/12/june-2011-visa-bulletin-%E2%80%93-eb-2-india-and-china-advance-fb1-and-fb2b-unchanged/

July: http://www.cilawgroup.com/news/2011/06/09/july-2011-visa-bulletin-%E2%80%93-significant-forward-movement-in-eb-2-indiachina-other-workers-and-fb2a-fb1-remains-unchanged/

So, I do not think the analysis is up-to-date, unless they think seven-month is considered as "slow".:)

You already got all your responses about this link in your other forum "F2A MAY TAKE LONGER..??".Every one responded to you saying that it's all an out dated info...Had it been correct VB will never move 7 months..

Also capitol immigration analysis is never correct thay are saying the same staement every month :(

I would like to add a comment here. No one in the world can have an idea about priority dates movement based on the current data except for NVC's employees of course! Like for example, in March 2009 PD was July 2004. At that time, no one had a single bit of idea that by the end of December 2010 PD will cover almost 5 years!! as PD was August 2010 in December 2010. So just relax, pray to God and enjoy reading this forum!

Take care!

Hey,

Thanks a lot for your response.

I'm very new to all this, so in case i ask a silly question please do excuse me.

What do you mean by I-130 approval? i received a notice recently from USCIS about my I-130. Is that just a confirmationo of my application or what exactly is it?

If you want i can tell u what exactly my I-130 notice says once i get back home. Also, after the PD becomes current, how long do you think it takes for the person to be physically present in the US?

I hope there's huge movement. Fingers crossed.

thanks a lot for your help.

This link deatils u the process..Lokk for ur spescific stuff..

http://immigrationroad.com/green-card/immigration-flowchart-roadmap-to-green-card.pdf

I'm not sure(or may be no one can give an accurate guess)abt your question "after the PD becomes current, how long do you think it takes for the person to be physically present in the US?"

Since I'm already in US..I'll apply for Adjustment of status after my PD becomes current.

Thanks for your response.

Let me explain my situation. I'm here in the US, and i'm a Permanent Resident. I've submitted I-130 for my spouse and her PD is May 2011.

I'm concerned about her. So i was wondering, when her PD will be current with the current movement and how long will it take after the PD becomes current.

Thats what my question is. I'll become US citizen in July, 2013.

thanks

I am in the same situation but my PD in Nov 2010

and i am also eligible to fill for citizen in July 2013.

My best advice is to be strong and keep life busy while

making your family and What comes first you accept..

PD or citizenship..if the PD comes current for her to

get the visa then fine...i have already condition myself ..

what comes first i accept...its very painful to live apart

but July 2013 will reach without you knowing... we also pray so

that our PD becomes current....I am positive to be current sometimes this year...

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your response. I'm also hoping for that. Its been really a painful wait.

Actually, there's nothing we could do apart from waiting. But lets c what happens in the next few months. I think the next couple of months is very crucial.

All i can say, lets hope for the best.

thanks

I have waited 37 min to get someone in the line, guess what it was worthy I heard the best news in my life. You need to call DOS between 9am to 10am. Unfortunately, Only Department of State(DOS) only schedule your interview date, NVC is work as contractor between State department and overseas consulate.

Only DOS provided the current visa bulletin ( July or next), NVC only goes by monthly current which is June VB. I hope you understand it.

GOOD LUCK.
