too much expectation can hurt you day after day.... just stay a float. Go on with your life i mean its still a long journey for you . Im not discouraging you just being realistic, thou miracles do happen just pray and have FAITH!!! :thumbs

Now we are confirmed with August VB, I would like to invite you all friends to warm up with your ideas and comments the "September 2011 Visa Bulletin Predictions" thread. Overall, I think 4 month going forward is acceptable, hoping to see end of 2008 for the coming month (September).

This means...we may see further retrogession or no advance moement in f1 ...but the retrogession vl be temporary and it may move to the cut off date before retrogession in oct 2011 vb...

and one more thing...so we all in f2a can predict that it may be a fast movemnt in the months of oct and november bcz of new visa available...so it may be a good news...if i am wrong plz correct me.. :star:

But if it did retrogressed wouldn't returning back to the prior cut off date be the date where it is now? That is May 2004?

I do not think anybody can exactly tell you how long it is going to take to get to Sep. 2010 (mainly because it is up to a lot of variables which are changing on monthly basis), but here is my guess: you need to see 26 months movement (from July 2008 to Sep. 2010), I would put it in three scenarios:

1) fast scenario: 5 month PD movement per month which will take almost five months from now (December 2011)

2) Moderate scenario: 3 month PD movement per month which will take almost 9 months from now (April 2012)

3) Slow scenario: 1.5 month PD movement per month which will take 17 months from now (December 2012)

If we consider last two months movement it would be more likely the first scenario, but you never know what is going to happen in coming months.hope it was useful enough.

If you stay in status when your PD becomes current, you can adjust status while in US. If there are no major changes, your PD should become current by the time you are done with school.

Thank God the VB moved for 4 months!!! My PD is just 2 months away from the current PD, my PD is September 2008... I just hope that at the end of this month we could receive an appointment letter for Sept. interview, this would be a great gift for my little girl's bday (she just really wish to spend her special day(October 6) with his Papa)...This might be her 1st time to celebrate her bday with his father. Continue praying VJ friends...God Bless us all!!!

good homework but my man More then 70% of 2008 to 2009 visa application processing already completed just some visa application uncompleted there some reason missing document slow response,etc.. I Believe now Nvc try to complete pending files.... Ref: check this web side http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=2&charttype=1

Dude,

Where did you bring that 70% of 2008 to 2009, is there any reference for that? There are couple of reasons which I do not think your reasoning is strong enough:

1. The processing time for form I-130 is five months so more likely most of applicants who applied before Sep. 2010 have their file in NVC, actually that is why retrogression happened in first place!

2. The more reliable report in terms of VB movement is following link: http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/WaitingListItem.pdf this report gives you better idea how many applicants are waiting in the list especially for 2010 fiscal year

3. I think it is better to consider the most recent month's movement in order to come up with near future pattern

It is just a raw guess (that is why I proposed the three scenarios) given all uncertainties associated to the prediction!
