Pls note that even if interviews are not scheduled... it can still advance to Dec 2008. By moving the VB to Dec 2008, it means uptil dec 2008 PD's are eligible for interviews. If the embassy is busy; it could be that interviews may not be scheduled but still it might move to Dec 2008.

The fact that there is no or little transparency in the DoS system to print out PD (priority dates) suggests clearly an flawed process. In all, it might be a defunct excel sheet on someone's desk that

PD is Current.

I don't think that is a strong argument. The whole point of announcing VB for August is telling what the last PD accommodated in August 2011 for interview is, so far as far as our knowledge (VJ friends), the last date was July 2008. This argument would be stronger if PDs of Aug., Sep., Oct., Nov., and Dec, have been accommodated for August.

I agree with you. As my following up so far, some F2A cases with PDs of 08.01.08, 08.04.08 and later haven't got interview schedules. Anyway, it's great to be opstimistic and keep hoping. They may have the expected letter shortly. Until the VB is stated, who knows?

Even if it gets to July 22, 2008, given the fact that we are getting to end of fiscal year of 2011, it would be four months moving forward which is really impressive. I am expecting to see a considerable jump for October 2011, because it is first month of the new fiscal year (2012).

Anybody from India,pls help! How long will it take to schedule interview appointments after the pd is current? Pls respond

If cut off date is close to your PD, please check with NVC or consulate

It depends on the chargeable country and how busy your consulate at the time of schedule. Doesn't matter if you get interview schedule before your PD becomes current or your PD is current n waiting for schedule. Do check with NVC / consulate once cut off date is close to PD.
