Ok i have a problem. I think EIDULFITR IS gona be on 30 of AUGUST... So what will happen to my interview. Would it be REscheduled? do i need to call NVC or embassy? Any help or input would be great.

Or would they let me know.

Listen call the location where the medical interview will be conducted and they (staff) will tell you the earliest they will accept you since they go by your interview date ... they too can tell you the latest date to get this done..!

no i am talking about the interview date. Since it will interfear with the eidulfitr holiday...I think which maybe on the 30 of the august? Would the embassy rescedule my interview date?? thanks

i understand... the embassy is scheduled to be opened for - Eid-ul-Fitr - however will be closed on August 31 - September 5, 2011.

Its always good to ask....But they know about the national holidays in the local places...So Most probably they are gonna email u or send u a letter Or may be call u to inform u that ur interview has been rescheduled...The reschedule does not always mean that they will shift it to September or later...They might ask u to appear for the interview before that (i mean an earlier date)...cos this happened to me back in 2006...We were scheduled for an interview on July 11 2006 But then they sent a letter which said..Your interview has been rescheduled and now you have to appear on June 12 ...So they brought it up,almost a month earlier...So stay calm...Ask ur wife to get ready for the interview...Both mentally and physically...And wait until we make sure when is the Eidul fitar gonna be inshaAllah....And then if it is on the same day of ur interview..and u dont hear from them,Give them a call and tell them the situation.

for what it is it's set... thou we know they are nature of life is unpredictable in that region. If there is a change the embassy will make all effort - they say - to make contact with you .

August 2011 visa bulletin will move beyond atleast August 2008....Here is the proof. I was browsing through internet and in one of the forums; I got below statement

Like to Share that from my family, LPR mother files for her three sons under F2A PD 18th April 2008 received their interview appointment from ISL Embassy on August 2, 3, 4, 2011. Separate appointment of each person, therefore she will request to get same day appointment for these boys

My daugher and son are F2A, with priority dates May 5, 2008 and June 20, 2008 from Mexico and we haven't received interview letters. I wonder why some have received the appointments and some of us have not.
