Hello everyone and thank you in advance for any and all of your help.

My husband and I began our process April 5, 2011 for CR-1 visa and it is to my understanding that the process was unddergoing some changes at that time.

We received a letter to my U.S. address on May 4, 2011 saying that he is entitled to apply for an immigrant visa and to follow insstructions to packet three from a ciudad juarez website warning us that ds 230 was no longer valid and to fill ds 260 instead and to mail them the confirmation page once finished and the process will go on.

Well on May 9, 2011, we received another letter that looked almost identical except it said nothing about packet three. Just to go to the same ciudad juarez website and follow the instructions, which are not very clear and this is why I am here now.

First, is this letter the infamous invitation letter?

Second, what do I do now?

Well it says to fill packet three but then it gives me a side note that ds 230 is no longer valid? It tells me to fill ds 260 and send them the confirmation page. I guess I will send them the confirmation page + i 864?
