I applied in March 2005 and got NOA1 on March 31, 2005...

Since then I'm waiting because supposedly they'e doing a background check so as I was told nobody knows how long am I still gonna be waiting. I'm in Canada, and my fiance is from Chicago.

Good luck to you, and I hope urs goes faster than mine ;o)

ouch... there are a couple of people around here who went through that with Nebraska...

Ours was approved in 76 days. Then we decided to do DCF because it was lost.

February 13, 2006:VISA APPROVED!!!!

November 18, 2006: Mia Grace is born

May 30, 2008: 10 year Greencard approved

according to the updated processing times..Nebraska is now the slowest service center. ... Dec. 7. Did that go backwards???

20/11/06 - visa in my pocket!

26/06/07 - biometrics appointment

02/17/07 - AP and EAD arrive

03/03/08 - Infopass - where the heck is my AOS interview?? No one knows!

Well it seems that Nebraska has not moved at all in a month. It was just updated and stayed the same. Isn't this just peachy. My receipt date is Nov 18th so I cannot even call the find out what the heck is going on. :crying: What's a guy in love suppose to do?

Oh man I just hate this!!!!!!!!!!! :angry::angry::crying:

Seriously.... they haven't changed the date at all............ this is so upsetting! And sad...... :crying:

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

Well, in trying to be an optimist I will say this. Now that they have caught up on all their other work at Nebraska for the last month, they are ready to really start knocking out those I-129f applications this month !!! :D

12/17/06 - Married!

AOS Process a fading memory...

01/31/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD package for Olga and Anya

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

I can't even look at the website and see if my case has been touched or not. Everyday i try to put my receipt number in and it still hasn't been put in the system. I am wondering if i should contact them or is this just a waist of time.

I think this is what they've been doing. I noticed there

was a small burst of approvals from NSC early in the

month, and then nothing. Could also be that the service

centers work on some sort of rotation system, processing

the different visa petitions at different times of the month.

Who knows!! It's all deep, deep voodoo to those of us

on the outside.

I-751 - Removal of Conditions

05-01-2009 - I-751 Packet Mailed to CSC via USPS Express Mail

05-02-2009 - USPS tried to deliver. Nobody home@CSC. PS Form 3849 left for CSC to reschedule delivery.

05-04-2009 - I-751 Delivered to CSC@6:28am. Signed for by "V SEMEGI".

05-04-2009 - NOA1 Receipt Date. Same day as delivery - Wow!

05-14-2009 - Check cashed

05-16-2009 - Conditional Green Card expires

05-18-2009 - NOA1 Arrives in the mail

06-22-2009 - Biometrics notice arrives in the mail

07-06-2009 - Biometrics appointment @ 1pm

07-06-2009 - Biometrics done

07-06-2009 - Touched
