Hi, I had my K1 visa interview on Monday and was approved no problem, my visa will be delivered in 7-10 days! Yay!!

However, my brother, who wants to attend my wedding on August 18th had his B2 nonimmigrant tourist visa interview in London today. They told him they are going to recommend him for a waiver and will get back to him in a months time. What does this mean???

Please help, it's not looking hopeful for him to make the flight on August 15th is it? :( Any information about what this means would be a great help! He has two petty theft cautions.

If your brother is UK citizen he doesn't need a visa. Why did he apply for B2?

As I said, he has a criminal record...Two cautions. He was ineligible to use the VWP.

It is going to be tight, maybe, maybe not.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Okay, I've been reading up a lot on this, but have this question:

Assuming the DHS approve the waiver of ineligibility and we hear from them to return my brothers passport to the embassy to attach his visa and waiver; How do we go about doing this? Do we just arrange for DX to pickup his passport? Do we have to package it or include a letter, or what?
