Waiting for word from Montreal! 6 weeks on Friday

It will be 6 weeks on Friday since we had our interview in Toronto to provide all original copies for the I-130 petition. We have sold our house, hubby (USC) is going to be leaving in a month with all our stuff to re-establish domicile. I want something from Montreal to come already!!! I have been reading in the Canada forum that K1'ers haven't even received their packet 3's but because they get a NOA they at least have a case number and therefore are able to call DOS for information. I can't do anything but wait. I know it's only been 6 weeks, but this waiting thing is painful. Just had to get that out.

March 1999 - Met online

July 5th, 2001 - Met in person

December 19, 2003 - Got engaged

September 26, 2004 - Got married in Canada and husband (USC) becomes a PR

July 5, 2007 - Our daughter Samantha is born

April 5th, 2011 - I-130 Submitted to Toronto Consulate

April 29th, 2011 - Interview at Toronto Consulate

June 8th, 2011 - Packet 3 received via email

June 9th, 2011 - Packet 3 returned via Expresspost overnight

June 13th, 2011 - Packet 3 received by Consulate

June 16th, 2011 - Packet 3 Logged

June 16th, 2011 - Packet 4 Dated

June 22nd, 2011 - Packet 4 Logged

September 12, 2011 - Medical in Toronto

September 29, 2011 - Interview - APPROVED!

? - Visa Received

? - POE

You should have a case number for your case as well. All cases get a case number.

Have you called DOS to ask about the status of your visa? if its printed etc?

Thats where you should be calling and should be able to get answers from them. Better and faster than Montreal.
