On the day of the formal visa interview all applicants for immigrant, fiancé(e), Kii and V visas, including children and babies, will be required to present the following documents where applicable.

# Marriage certificate* - the original or certified copy bearing the appropriate seal or stamp of the issuing authority for each of the applicant's marriages.

# Termination of Prior Marriages* - applicants who has been previously married must obtain evidence of the termination of each prior marriage such as final divorce decree, death certificate or annulment. Evidence must be in the form of the original document issued by a competent authority, or a certified copy bearing the appropriate seal or stamp of the issuing authority

Someone going through UK would be able to assist you with more accurate info. However, I've read on other threads that some consulates/embassies do ask for marriage certificates as well (you might want to search for those threads).

I was told that a Certificate from previous marriage is required unless it's not obtainable. @ my interview i was asked to produce it and my Fiance's ... I gave them mine and explained my Fiance could not get his. Each consulate will of course have different rules/wants .. so i would be sure to clear it up with the consulate specific to you prior to your interview. It's best not to be surprised :star:
