According to the search result here, seems for filing the AOS for K1 it is better for us to have Medical again than get an RFE later?

No not really. It's not necessary. Just have your vaccines transcribed. Why go through all that trouble if you don't need it. I think the chances they lose your medical are slim. I mean even if it happened to me, I would still never tell people to just repeat it because its a pain!

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Hate to tell you this but it is not slim that they lose medicals it happens more often than you think

Include a copy of the vaccination sheet and a copy of the bill from the foreign medical if you have it.

No need for a full new medical unless they tell you that they lost your medical and you need a new one.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

There is no need to have another medical. Why do that to yourself and pay again?

Naturalization Process (FINALLY!)

05.29.14 - N-400 filed

06.02.14 - Packet received at the Lewisville Texas Center

06.05.14 - Check cleared

06.04.14 - NOA date

06.13.14 - Biometrics letter received

07.02.14 - Biometrics appointment

07.07.14 - In line

07.17.14 - 'Yellow Paper' date

09.10.14 - Interview scheduled NOA date

10.15.14 - Interview date

10.15.14 - RFE (missing documentation)

10.21.14 - RFE response received in NYC facility

11.04.14 - Oath ceremony scheduled, approved!

11.19.14 - Oath ceremony (8:30am) in Brooklyn - Completed! DONE WITH USCIS!

That's sad, but oh well, at least I wasn't the only one!

I only have the vaccination record but not the receipt nor copy of the medical that i had in my country. Seems Messybrownhair is one of the rare lucky one, coz seems mostly here have to have medical check up again. Oh man!!!

If you apply for the Aos within a year of your last medical you dont need to do it again, when I did my aos they did not ask for proof of medical just the vacination records.
