Hello Everyone!

I'm ready to register my 9 year old daughter with CFO. What time do they open and what time do you suggest should I go? Are they packed with people all the time? I cannot find their operating hours on the website.

They operate only mondays thru fridays, business hours. Which CFO office will go be going to, cause there are 2 venues, one in Taft Avenue, and another in QC. You have to attend the seminar delivered by PRISM firs before you get ur CFO sticker, as you cant get the sticker without attending the seminar.

you may refer to this link for the particulars of the requirements.

I suggest taking the seminar early in the morning so it saves you the hassle of going to and fro offices.

go directly to the PRISM office first before you go to CFO..

MEDICAL EXAM = Dec 20-21, 2011 = PASSED!!!

INTERVIEW DATE = January 6, 2012 = APPROVED!!! ----Our interview took 250 days from our I-130 NOA1 date.

VISA PRODUCTION = January 6,2012

VISA DELIVERY = January 11, 2012

POE = Feb.18, 2012

SSN Received = Feb 25, 2012

GC received = April 5, 2012 (incorrect data entry :((, sent back April 9, 2012)

CORRECT GC RECEIVED = August 22, 2012, granted IR1 (10 year gc)

that's where our USCIS process ends for now.. will wait for the next 3-4 years what we'll do next...

The CFO is for my daughter who is a minor and not for me. I read on the website that I just need to register her and need not attend any seminars. We'll be going to the one in Taft since that's the nearest to us.

Requirements for Registration

Original and photocopy of passport (must be valid about six months before date of travel)

Original and photocopy of visa

One (1) 2x2 or passport-size photograph

One (1) valid identification card with photograph (eg., SSS ID, GSIS E-card, PRC ID, driver's license, postal ID, ARC, etc.)

Photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for USA-bound emigrant (must not be detached from visa packet)

Original and photocopy of Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada-bound emigrant (must not be torn or signed before departure)

Original and photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility for Japan-bound emigrant

Original and photocopy of Nulla Osta (for Italy-bound emigrants)

Original and photocopy of letter of approval for Work to Residence visa (for New Zealand-bound emigrants)

Photocopy of employment contract (for immigrant workers)

Duly completed registration form for Emigrants (click here) or for Immigrant Workers (click here)

Payment of P400.00 registration fee

Attendance in the PDOS, guidance counseling or peer counseling session

For youth emigrants aged 13 to 19, the following additional documents are also required:

Photocopy of parent's passport or valid identification card, if accompanied by parent/s during registration

Letter of authorization from parent/s authorizing the guardian to register the child with CFO on their behalf (if accompanied by guardian during registration)

Original and photocopy of DSWD travel clearance (click here for the new guidelines on issuance of travel clearance)

For children 12 years old and below, the following additional documents are required if the proxy is not the legal/natural/adoptive parent of the registrant.

Original and photocopy of one(1) of valid identification card with photograph of the proxy

Special Power of Attorney or notarized authorization letter from the parent/s/ or guardian/s authorizing the proxy to register the minor children (authenticated by Diplomatic Post/ notarized in country where executor is residing).

Note: After satisfactory completion of the requirements, an emigrant registration sticker is affixed to the emigrant's passport
