I really don't understand how it can be that CSC approved 11 VJ petitioners yesterday and VSC approved none!!! I would not even want to say that CSC works harder, yada yada yada, or that one center is better than the other, but I wish I could get a grasp on why the disparity. :(CSC is approving March petitions and VSC is approving January. Wouldn't it make sense to shift some of the states assigned to VSC to CSC? When you look at the USCIS website for the trends, in March, there were approximately 24,000 !29F petitions pending, approximately 14,000 in Vermont and 10,0000 in California. Yet, Vermont approved 1,442 and California 2,546 during that time frame. Both VSC (2,639) and CSC (2,649) have approximately the same amount of new petitions for the same time frame but the difference is that CSC approved almost as many petitions as it had new ones and VSC was about 1,200 off. Clearly, Vermont may need some help catching up. Come on California, help them out!!!

Please know that not everyone who is going through this process is on these forums. I'm certain someone, somewhere in America was approved yesterday and will be approved today. She's a slow ship, our Vermont, but the ship still moves every day. Just stay strong and realize that things are moving. The folks who are from September had a far harsher time and VSC is actually doing ten times better with processing.

I would guess that Vermont sees more applications than California based on the distribution of immigration, but that's merely a guess.

Stay strong, yours is coming!!! This morning we just found out we're in AP at the NVC. So although we're a bit ahead of you, we're still in the aimless waiting period....

Hang in there!

I, also, waited a long time but it is SO WORTH IT!

I, too, was envious of how CSC was giving approvals like there were no tomorrow...please be patient. You'll be approved soon.

Check again, look like nobody from VSC updated their timelines yesterday, but today it's a whole different picture. It seems that they don't work as fast as CSC but surely they're working! :star: :star:

VSC is running pretty slow on the IR-1/CR-1 side.

CSC is cranking them out at a good pace.

Good Luck to all no matter the service center you are at.

Scott - it was in spanish AND english.(In other words, it was translated). Is there a real rule on this forum that it's english only?

:ot:

More than a rule I guess is a polite way to speak with each other in here at least, if we all were talking in our native language we wouldn't be able to understand everybody, and it will be chaotic.

But I didn't find your comment was inappropriate since it was translated. We just need to be more comprehensive to each other since I believe we all don't have English as a native language...

Enough of the heavy... :ot2:

Actually it was NOT translated as the full translation (thanks to google) is:

"Hey little one be patient ... Everything has its time ... I also made it through and it is not easy ... It's Going to Be a long journey ... It Will Be Worth It. Be very, very faith!!".

The OP wrote only the section in italics in engligh. Hardly a "translation".

Yes it's a rule. Though to be fair I can't seem to find where it's written..

As I said, I don't think is like a written rule, is more like an inherit rule. Just to be polite to everybody, so we can understand each other...You can figure out what will happen with so many languages in a forum like this, it would be nothing but chaos, English speakers, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, etc etc etc you get my point right?

It's more understandable for everybody if it's in English. But I believe there is nothing wrong for us to express in our native language if it's translated like she did. So I do think the comment that came after hers is kinda rude.

That's the problem, it wasn't translated. Just part of her sentence was english, it wasn't a translation of anything. There was nothing wrong with what Scott said or how. He was polite, he did a little thumbs up to show he wasn't being rude. Not everyone knows about the english "rule".

But yes, if someone wrote something in their native language and provided a COMPLETE translation there's nothing wrong with that (been done before, a lot more recently I've noticed especially in OP's).
