I get to make the Monday thread! I have 3 new classes starting today, so it's good but busy. I need to do a little research for my workshop. Other than that, I think it's gonna be a smooth day! I hope Kelly's feeling better and that everyone will have a great day. Let's also hear some good news from the consulates this week. Any scheduled interviews or happenings this week? (F)

Daily phonecalls, discover internet chatting w/ video cam - OMG!!!

March 25-April 14, 2006 Noura's 2nd trip to Morocco - formal engagement w/ family

April 24, 2006- mailed in K1 Visa package - TSC

Oct 5, 2006 - Interview SUCCESS

Oct 12, 2006 - Called to pick up visa tomorrow!

Oct. 16, 2006 VISA IN HAND!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

Good morning everyone! :D

I started my week off on the wrong foot this morning, having just had a confrontation with a crossing guard. Yes, a crossing guard. Not a story worth telling, but people can just be so rude and crochety, you know????

Anyway, I'm enjoying a cup of coffee to calm my nerves. Back to work!

monday, monday..go to work day...... not officially wake up till 10:30am day......I'd rather be anywhere else but awake day.....hehehe :hehe: nothing happening unusual today that I know of....Hope everyone has an eventful and exciting day!!!!! :thumbs:

I think I might have to change my route to work in order to avoid her now. :blush:

Better get started on that letter to the traffic commission that I told her I'd be writing. :blink:

Well it's another Monday and I am out of bed and at work. I guess this could be considered a blessing, except I got home late after the wedding and barely slept. I get to do the drive thru window for the next two weeks at the bank. A "Learning experience." But I must say I like it so far. I get to see the outside which is the best part of being at the window! But the bad thing is that I hardly know anyone that goes to the window and I am not allowed to ask if anyone knows my customer because I have to ask for ID even though people have been coming here for years! So I am not only going to get yelled at by the customers, but in return I will get yelled at by my co-workers! :angry: I already got in an argument with a co-worker this morning because she doesn't want to hear me asking at all! :angry: I HAVE TO ASK FOR ID! :angry: Well that just put a damper on my mood!

I had a good weekend. Saturday was full of shopping for an outfit for the wedding. Sunday morning I spent the morning with my husband and the wedding in the evening. The wedding was nice. We were like a minute late for the wedding and the bride had already walked down the isle! But thanks God my friend Carrie and her husband were also late. The wedding was really short too. Maybe 10 minutes. The bride surprised a lot of us because we all thought she was going to be wearing a traditional american wedding dress, but she was wearing a moroccan dress that was absolutly beautiful! The wedding reception was good. They had it at the same restraunt my husband and I had ours. I made a new friend which is always nice. And the best part, my husband wanted to go home at 9:30! But we were asked to stay til the cake came out and then we were allowed to leave. So we left at 10:30 instead of our usual 12!

But anywho! I am hoping the week will be quick and that it wont be to terrible for me working here. I hope everyone has a good day!

Oh yeah! We got touched on 9/9/06! Yay!
