We got our interview date for July 12th, but I am reading contradictory info for it. Some say that I go with my husband, some say I dont go with him. Has anyone in Turkey joined their spouse for the interview? Apparently this is something new since last summer, but have no idea...

It would be great to know the answer to this. The only thing I have been told is that you must call ahead to get permission and there are certain times you are not let into the Embassy with your spouse so be sure you ask about that when you get permission. I wish I could be of more help.

If you are doing DCF, it is mandatory that you as the US Spouse attend that interview with him. Didn't they state this in the email that they sent you notifying you of your interview. You DO NOT need permission in this instance.:no::no::no:
