POE by bus

Did anyone do POE by bus from toronto to NY? I am wondering which facilities and corssing (peace bridge or rainbow bridge) greyhound or megabus is using to cross the border. I want to call to confirm if I can do my landing there. BTW in case if the bus leaves me because of the delay on immigration procedure, can I take the next bus or is there any taxy service at the customs office to go to the buffalo greyhound station?

Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

just be aware... they won't wait for you to clear immigration...so it is not an if ... as for just taking the next bus? i doubt it.. you don't have a ticket

You need to call the bus company and ask them what their procedure is. If it's going to take some time they're not going to wait. And they won't know how long it will take until you get there and see how many people are in front of you. It's not predictable. Though you can ask them, in their experience, what time of day/day of week is best for least amount of traffic.

I would actually call the bus service and see what their policy is on missed buses. I remember taking the bus once and due to mechanical failures, didn't catch a connection, and was able to get on the next bus. I don't know their policy on missing a bus due to clearance issues at the border, though.
