I864 for K1 visa ... Needed or Not

Does the I864 need to be completed for the K1 visa??? http://montreal.usconsulate.gov/content/visas/pdfs/visa_checklist.pdf <<< it's listed in this checklist... can anyone tell me?

Removal of Conditions

[03-24-2014] ROC paperwork sent.

[03-25-2014] NOA1.

[04-21-2014] Biometrics

[06-17-2014] Card in production

[06-25-2014] Card in HAND

Hi....No it does not need to be completed for K1 for Montreal. That checklist is also used for other visas. It will be completed for AOS later. Good Luck!

AP card....................2011-10-26

AOS approved .......2011-12-19

k1 only needs to complete that for the aos stage after your married and in the usa.

As a K-1 you file I-134 Affidavit of Support only for now :)

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012
