Hi all, I sent my packet on June 16th and haven't heard anything yet. Not text, no email, no NOA in the mail... Although most people receive the text message after a few days, it seems like I am not the only person who's been waiting for so long. I am anxious about it, because my first application was rejected due to a mistake in the i-485 and it took them almost a month to send me the rejection letter.

Anyway, today I called them and they said they do not have my case yet in the system (neither acceptance, nor rejection) so they might be experiencing some delay. Just wanted to share this with you guys. Waiting is the worse, I hope to receive something soon.

Got my biometrics appointment notice in the mail today set for July 22, but thinking of going in next week to get it done as a walk in. Excited!! :) But confused as to why I am not getting emails/text messages about anything. I made a USCIS account for my case status and turned email and text message notification on and still nothing. Weird. Anyone else having this problem? Oh well, at least I got my biometrics letter. I hope I get my EAD in the next two months..I really need to start working!

Got my biometrics appointment notice in the mail today set for July 22, but thinking of going in next week to get it done as a walk in. Excited!! :) But confused as to why I am not getting emails/text messages about anything. Hey there.. I got a text message a few days ago in which they gave me the case number, when I checked the case number it says that they got my papers on June 13, but I haven't gotten my NOA1, do you know if this is normal?

NBC isn't a ad thing, applications are processed there before being sent to the local USCIS office or CSC.

Don't worry! Yes, if your receipt number begins with MSC it means that your petition is at the National Benefits Center and from there it will be transferred to your local USCIS office.

For those of you who cannot see their case on line, again, DON'T WORRY! I could not see it for almost 6 weeks, but, meanwhile, I got all my mail from USCIS. I know it is hard to relax, but, at this point, there is nothing you can do. Enjoy your life with your loved ones!
