As topic suggests! We got our NOA2 for I-129F on the 23rd May. I decided to phone NVC today to see if they had allocated a case number. They haven't, but our case was logged as received today. They haven't assigned a case number as yet - roughly how long does this take?

Thanks

A few days. Call every other day.

Schedule medical, as soon as you get case number and know you aren't going into AP, as time could be a day or months at NVC.

My NAO2 date is May 20th. When I called early this morning, they said they had not received it yet and gave me the standard, "Wait 15 days". I called about 5 hours later and they were able to give me my LND number. Shouldn't be too long for you. :)

Phoned again today. NVC confirmed it was received on 6th June and also gave me my LND case number! They also took my (beneficiary) email address and telephone number, and advised the that the petitioner would be emailed when the file is forwarded to the embassy.

Called Knightsbridge and arranged my medical for 11th July to coincide with a London day trip.

Thanks
