Wife's Philippine passport is about to expire.

She has already filed removal of conditions and had biometrics taken.

Nearest consulate is very far, and there are work/family issues getting there. A couple more weeks might help.

What happens if we can't get to the Consulate before the expiration date?

2009 May 27 SS Card Issued (Less than 1 week from application!!!)

2009 Jul 08 AOS Interview: APPROVED :) :) :) :) ;) Stamps placed in the Passports.

Imp - check with Philippine consulate, would they renew an expired passport?

She has until the end of her natural life to renew her passport. When--if ever--she renews it has nothing to do with immigration, nothing to do with the Philippines, but only to do with the date she plans to hop on a plane and leave the USA.
