Is it possible that during the course of applying for his wife that he began as a LPR and is now us citizen but that info didnt' follow thru with NVC? I hope he comes back to read this question from you and give a little more info so he gets the right answers then..... That would explain NVC saying no Visa Number available yet ....

i filled my i 130 as a LPR but after i got my citizen i upgrade my case by sending my usa citizen certificate

to NVC so that's why i was worried is one month and 2 weeks normal or not?

Then I think you need to call NVC and be sure they know you upgraded....bcos like i said in my first post it sounds like your filing as LPR bcos they said they needed to wait for visa number to become available....possibly sounds like they didnt get the upgrade in the system and are still assuming that you are LPR not USC.... penguin can reply and tell you more...im not so familiar with this...

If you only sent them your citizenship certificate 6 weeks (one month and 2 weeks) ago then it is possible it hasn't caught up with the rest of your petition yet. I would give NVC another call make sure their computer records show that your petition has been upgraded.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
