If you want help in reading comprehension, just ask. Read: What you claimed I was 'portraying'- I wasn't, so get over it if you had yet another special moment.

As for the NPR radio transmission, find it on their site, or if you're too lazy, scroll and listen to these two guys here.

Like I thought, your two cents consists of just a couple people thinking outside the box. The problem is that their the exception to the rule and any hope of real change is nothing more than another empty campaign promise.

No Simpson, your thought was one that claimed something I didn't. Watch yourself now son!

The only think I sought out to state in my example is that not everyone is a crazy terrorist or a crazy land-grabbing murderer. I clearly stated that I hoped this would increase in the coming future via the younger generations. I know cynics don't like optimism, but that's just how things improve in the world.

Good grief it goes without saying. Your two cents was nothing more than a distraction.

Michael Medved is hardly a source for objectivity and/or clarity on the ME situation. He's a deeply flawed right-wing partisan hack on the issues.

Next.

No he is not,he has often disagreed with the other right pundits. He is a educated man with good credentials. Just admit it, if it wasn't for his thoughts on the Israeli Palestine conflict you two would be the best of friends.

I'll admit, I used to like him when he was busy trying to be Gene Shalit. Education isn't immunity against partisanship, though, and Medved is proof of that. Even the learned lib Thomas Friedman goes down easier for me re the ME than MM does.

He goes down tough for you because you dont like his thoughts on the Israeli conflict or Islam.

One thing I have always liked about Medved is that it isn't always Democrats this Democrats that, his discussions are well researched and backed with a good education. You accused him of being a partisan hack, check out this article -

As far as the Shalit comment, was that nothing more than you trying to make him look bad by comparing Medved to Shailit. I get it, they somewhat look alike(except for the crazy dew)and they both were movie critics but is there something more?

Do you see how the people of Palestine have been pawns in the bigger scheme to destroy Israel? Do you believe this is just in peoples head?

No, Palestinian people are not pawns in a bigger scheme to destroy Israel. They are pawns in a scheme to dispossess them of their property, for the benefit of foreign colonialists.

Do you ever ask yourself why Muslims live a good life in Israel?

Are you referring to the remaining fragment of the indigenous population who weren't driven out ?

Please define "good life," and as compared to what. Compared to the sort of life Palestinians had before the Zionist invasion ? Or compared to entirely different people in entirely different countries ?

I'm with you on the occupied territories, Israel needs to get the hell out. The conflict will not end when/if they give back the land, do you agree with that?

The only way the conflict will end is with a just and fair agreement that addresses the core issues - including the borders, the settlements, the status of Jerusalem, and the refugees.

Simpson, honey, you posted this article coz you like the guy's views on Israel and its neighbors. I don't agree with them and I know there is nothing redeemable in his Zionist partisanship. Partisanship is what's wrong with this article and with the history of US policy in the region.

I was not commenting on his party partisanship or lack of it, and I made that clear.

Michael Medved is hardly a source for objectivity and/or clarity on the ME situation. He's a deeply flawed right-wing partisan hack on the issues.

As far as the comparison between Shalit and Medved, Shalit was a lot better critic.

I am also disturbed by this fanaticism- on both sides. Hopefully the younger generations can see eye to eye.

A mob in the street, marching and chanting "Death to the Arabs," "Butcher the Arabs," and "May your village burn down."

It's how extremist Israeli youth celebrated "Jerusalem Reunification" this week in Sheikh Jarrah (a Palestinian neighborhood in East Jerusalem where long-time Arab residents are being pushed out to make way for Jewish settlers):

I know it might be hard for you to follow up on NPR, but they're also focusing on how the younger Arabs and Israelis are trying to work together through all the BS in the conflict. Too bad there isn't a virus or something that targets crazy terrorist Arabs and crazy terrorist Israelis.

And it's not just young people who are working together. A lot of the older people on both sides still have ties with each other, and many are involved with the peace groups.

We are pawn in the in the larger scheme to colonize the ME.

That explains why Israel has so many agents here and has co-opted so many of our organizations:

U.S. House of Representatives

U.S. Senate

Executive Branch

Republican Party

Democratic Party

There is so much consternation over the "nerve" of Obama to expect Israel to give up something and share because the sad history of our capitulation to their desires has bred a belief that they are entitled to our support, no matter what. Well, those days are numbered, and that's long overdue.

An interesting choices of phrases.

I largely agree with your last statement. I DO agree that an end to the conflict will need just and fair agreement to the very issues you mention. I also happen to think it requires an unequivocal recognition of the state of Israel by Palestinians, and a clear and unequivocal renunciation of violence and terrorism against Israel - including the launching of rocket attacks from Gaza into sovereign Israel.

I have a question for you in that regard. You mention agreement upon borders. Just what are borders that you are willing to accept? Since by your own words Israel is nothing more than a "Zionist invasion" -- presumably in your views not a legitimate entity, not a legal entity -- then just what are these borders of which you speak? If they are in fact the shores of the Mediterranean, then just what sort of "just and fair" negotiation do you expect of Israelis? National suicide?

Forgive them Simpson, by just and fair they do indeed appear to mean "goodbye Israel." certainly neither wife nor Sof have even hinted at the merest recognition Palestinians bear any responsibility for their plight, or much less ever done anything that wasn't wholly justified by Israeli actions.

The merest hint of admitting the truth in your OP runs entirely counter to Palestinian historical and current immutable orthodoxy. Everything is Israels fault. Everything is justified in reaction to Israels sins.

The truth lies somewhere in between.
