Hi, should I be concerned that the USCIS website gives me the same message when I put in my case number - •Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

I've been in about one month, and have received my NOA1 in the mail, but I never get any info from the tracking site. I'm inclined to beleive they just don't update it often. Thanks

It isn't that unusual - assuming you are using the receipt number correctly.

If you're concerned, I'd suggest calling the number just to be sure the receipt number is correct - if so, it'll get updated online (eventually).

we had the same issue for about 3 months..then it was updated on the website and we had initial review...

if u havent called them yet..make a call and speak to an operator so u know that they have ur case and there is no missing paper...then just wait...if u did call them and they told u that they have all the papers they need , then u must know that their website isnt updated and that u should be in initial review statut...

speaking for myself, we were approved more then a month a ago and in the website it still shows initial review..but nothing to worry about

20/05/2011 Called the NVC get NVC number and gave our emails

21/05/2011 DS3032 email Sent /

23/05/2011 paid the AOS fee Bill

25/05/2011 AOS statut PAID

25/05/2011 Sent Request to clear the error in my name (ughhh)

27/05/2011 PAID the IV BILL -statut in process

28/05/2011 got the response for my request to modify the error in my name..== OK

31/05/2011 AOS Package sent via usps express

01/06/2011 IV bill statut " PAID "

03/06/2011 AOS Package received by NVC

03/06/2011 IV Package sent via usps express

05/06/2011 IV Package received by NVC

05/06/2011 fingers crossed

17/06/2011 second stupid FALSE RFE for missing DS230

24/06/2011 SIF SIF SIF SIF YES SIIIIF (Sign In Failed) and Case complete ( CC)

******

NVC journey ended after 34 days***

28/07/2011 medical passed===> OK

10/08/2011 interview date==>ok but there is a missing document

21/08/2011 Visa in hand

27/08/2011 POE at CHICAGO O'Hare
