Hi everyone! :)

Are they strict about us using usps only to send in our application for k1 visa and for rfe's or is it ok to use fedex?

(We had a typo error in one of the G325a and we only realized it after sending it out. We're just lucky we were able to request usps that they send it back to us first so now we have a chance to correct the mistake and we can send a totally new form together with the k1 application) that's why we wanna know if fedex is ok, it might be faster?

You can use whatever delivery service works for you. In our case we used Fedex for all the USCIS stuff up until the RFE then just USPS express. As long as they can deliver to the dropbox then it is ok.

great! thanks for the quick reply guys :)

was wondering though, which one would be faster to use - fedex or usps? like everyone else, everyday counts for us so any route that would help speed up things would be the way to go.

i don't think i've ever seen the physical address of the dallas lockbox - where can i find the address?

thanks again! it's always good to know there's a forum we can turn to for any confusion :)

USPS is usually cheaper for the same weight. Whichever you choose remember that USPS first class and priority mail is sent to the USCIS PO Box address and UPS,Fedex and USPS Express are considered courier and is sent to the physical address.

At best you might save a day over Priority Mail, or even get accepted later, if no one is there to sign for Fedex. If it is going overseas to certain countries, you may want to avoid USPS for things you don't want to get lost.

Courier mail will not be delivered to a P.O. Box, and may get delayed waiting for a signature.
