hi: I am applying k-1 for my Indonesian fiance who works at Singaore, we just submitted sponsorship, medical checkup and Coc. I want to go accompany her to the Embassy, but how long before the K-1 interview will She get a notice? Can I request a email notice as well?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

The notice for the interview can be received up to 1 week before the interview. Consulates usually schedule the interview appointments around the 15th of every month. If you want to plan your trip ahead so you can be with your fiance for the interview I recommend that you contact the Consulate and try to schedule the interview with them or find out from them. And no, they won't send an email notification in most cases.
