Someone said they would have problems if their fiance cried because he misses her.... I think that's sad.... men should be able to cry and if not to or about missing the love of his life then when and why???

My heart would melt if my man broke out in tears simply because he misses me. I think your fiance has a decent man on her hands and should consider herself lucky.

So all this hatred only because I suggetsted that physical activities and hard work is better for dealing with separation from SO, then "eating like a pig" and consequently "gaining 40 lbs"???.

I know how you feel. In one respect I react opposite from you, I eat like a pig and have put 40 LB's on since this started. To tell you the truth I have a really hard time handling it. That's why I go back every 6 months or so. Because of the annulment Luz had to get this process has been going on for us about 2 1/2 years now. When we are together it's so good. When I have to leave it's SO BAD! But we are dealing with it as best we can. Just remember this, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I notice that a lot of those expressing similar reactions have filipina fiance's. It must be the fact that they are so sweet and loving that makes it hard to be away!!

So, anyway . . . back to the topic - Gary you are right. I have never met anyone like Evelyn, and I'm sure you feel that way about Luz . . . the kick in the pants, the cat, the grandma, and the soldier all with finger-outretched notwithstanding, they are sweet and loving.
