AOS transfer

I have received e-mail notification of NOA1 for I485 and I131 and I765 on May 23rd. It said that my case is getting transferred to National Benefit Center. Following that I received biometrics appointment notice for the office in San Diego for June 16th. I seen several people here that had there cases transferred to CSC and that did not have interviews. Can someone explain how does this happen? How do they decide if the case is transferred? When do they do transfer? If initial message says that it is transferred to National Benefits Center does this mean it will stay there?

It could stay there, and you will be sent an interview letter. It could be transferred to CSC still. You never know. It seems random. Ours was transferred to CSC and then transferred back later to NBC. An interview letter was then sent, and we had an interview after all. The interview was easy, so no worries if you do get one.
