On 9/7, I rec'd an email from Senator Coleman's office that my petition had been approved that day and that the approval would be issued on 9/8. It is now 9/10 and I have no official approval nor has my updated date changed.

Needless to say, I am getting a little nervous...Did the CSC liaison give the staffer info about the wrong petition? They told me to wait until this Friday to see if I receive anything via mail or email before they contact CSC to see what happened.

Am I being paranoid? I would hate to be told…oops….we gave you the wrong info. I know there has been a string of NOA2’s showing up in the mail w/o the website reflecting the approval.

What do you guys think?

Keep in mind that CSC is not logging all activity, and that due to their resouces being stretched beyond capacity at this point, everything takes longer than it should. I would give it until at least Friday.

6/29 - NEW I-129 mailed to CSC

7/21 - NOA1 issued

9/21 - finally ... my first touch!!

9/21 - NOA2 issued

Wow! How did you get help so early in the wait? Amazing! But, assuming the information you got was correct you should get something soon either by mail, email or posted on the update page.

Good luck! And more power to you if you get your NOA2 in about 3 months! That is still too long, but compared to the poor Feb/March/April filers still waiting, not too shabby! Gives me some hope. :thumbs:

  • August 9, 2006 NOA1
  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail
  • October 4, 5, 7, 13 & 17 2006 Touches! 50 day address change... Yes Judith is beautiful, quit staring at her passport photo and approve us!!! Shaming works! LOL
  • October 13, 2006 NOA2! November 2, 2006 NOA2? Huh? NVC already processed and sent us on to Abu Dhabi Consulate!
  • February 12, 2007 Abu Dhabi Interview SUCCESS!!! February 14 Visa in hand!
  • March 6, 2007 she is here!
  • MARCH 14, 2007 WE ARE MARRIED!!!
  • May 5, 2007 Sent AOS/EAD packet
  • May 11, 2007 NOA1 AOS/EAD
  • June 7, 2007 Biometrics appointment
  • June 8, 2007 first post biometrics touch, June 11, next touch...
  • August 1, 2007 AOS Interview! APPROVED!! EAD APPROVED TOO...
  • August 6, 2007 EAD card and Welcome Letter received!
  • August 13, 2007 GREEN CARD received!!! 375 days since mailing the I-129F!

    Remove Conditions:

  • May 1, 2009 first day to file
  • May 9, 2009 mailed I-751 to USCIS CS

I think you just gotta wait a bit more.

Ditto! Be optimistic and pray that the information passed on to the Senator's staff was correct. I know it's really hard waiting on the outcome. Give it a few more work days and potentially follow-up with the Senator's office. Keep us posted on your success stories! Cheers!!!
