Scheduling Online & Calling the Embassy (PI)

we got our Manila case number 2 weeks ago May 20,2011, well, it will be 2 weeks tomorrow. and NVC said theyve forwarded our case to manila embassy

already.. I paid our visa fee for k1/k2 last May 24,2011.. ao May 31,2011 upto now June 2,2011 Im trying to schedule my our interview date through

online and I still get this error..

1. Please check date of issue of Fee receipt. It is valid 2 working days up to 1 year from date of issue.

2.Are you entering details of the Fee receipt issued in your name?

3.If the data is rightly captured and unable to create a new appointment select ‘Exit’ button and contact our help line for further information.

BUT I PAID THE VISA FEE 7 working days already.. Is this Normal? I got worried thinking if, does our payment really went through to their system?

Im just worried cause I paid P 30,800 for me and my son. and its not an easy amount..

2nd. I called the embassy this morning trying to schedule our interview date, The agent asked some infos from me like k1/k2 names, date of payment,

passport numbers, last is the manila case number, and she said we cant schedule an appointment yet cause our manila case number is not yet in their

system..

I am so confused, our case number is not yet in their system, The Error i should get is "INVALID CASE TYPE (or something like that" but what i get is that receipt date blah blah....

anyone help, im getting paranoid! lol im worried about the payment... or this is just normal? Thanks Everyone!

One thought is that the date you are using when you paid the fee may either be put in incorrectly by that I mean 5/20/11 instead of 05-20-2011 but you said you entered it many times so I doubt that is it. Also if you paid in the afternoon the payment date may be 05-21-2011. I have heard other people trying the next day as a solution. i waited almost two weeks before my MNL # was in their "system". Just a couple of thoughts. Good luck.

I keep getting that error message too! I'm really worried. :/

My fiance already received a letter from NVC informing him that they have forwarded my file to the embassy.

I also called NVC and the lady told me they mailed it on May 18th.

I emailed the embassy, they told me they have received the electronic file but they don't have my physical

file yet. its been more than a week already.

I tried calling the embassy but I couldn't get through the line Mad mad mad lol

Did you try the next day solution? I tried that but it didnt work for me.

uhmm when entering the payment date all u have to do is choose the day , choose the month and type the year.. its already there in the webpage.. its worrying me really.. but my fiance said to wait until next week.. if still no changes then we better take some actions go back to the bank and check it..

In my opinion, these errors occur because USEM still doesnt have your MNL number in their system. You can keep trying everyday till you get a schedule.

and yes ive tried calling the embassy regarding this.. and i got an idiot answer.. the agent said " dont worry maam, that receipt is valind until 1 year" ?? lol im so pissed im freakin tired that time cause its already quarter to 10 im so sleepy.. so thats it.. lets just try and try though..

We are on the same boat here, our case took 18 days before we received an email from the embassy that we may now proceed on scheduling online or by phone.(thanks for the everyday inquiriessssss). Then I tried the link that almost everyone used here, it gave me a "case number type not valid" error. (NO LUCK) next I clicked on the link(same site though) from the email they sent me where you would create an account profile using your email and chosen password before entering other personal info, passport info, visa type, delivery address and then I could not pass this STEP 8 where they ask for the MRV receipt information, I have a valid number issued by BPI when I paid the visa fees(P15000+) but after I entered it, I keep on getting this error;

"No service fee can be found for the entered request number. Please validate your request number is correct and you have paid the correct amount for the visa you are applying.

this same freakin message halted my excitement on scheduling the interview. Does anyone here encountered got the same issue? I really wanted to book her appointment before the end of the month. HELP US PLEASEEEEE!

Its not invalid, just not entered in their system yet. My case left on May13, payment paid on May17. We called and they did confirm our payment accepted but still cannot schedule due to it not being in their system yet. I think there are a few here in same boat. I know of one other member I been writing PM to and his is exactly as yours and ours, I do not think it is unique to your case. NVC informed me sometimes it takes 2-4 weeks for the case to be sent and ready in their system for scheduling.

Hey after posting this yesterday morning, i tried calling the embassy again and Luckily I was able to schedule our interview date already.. try to call them i used 982-5555... dont lose hope, yesterday morning i called but the agent said our case was not yet in their system, i was about to give up cause its too way overdue LOL i told myself not to contact them anymore and just wait for next week, but last night i dont know, i just tried it again and finally.. try it and hope it will work for u

weeee it worked. They finally scheduled my fiance's appointment on July 7th! Just speak to them politely and they will definitely help you hehehe!
